The Summit Mk. I
EHFR’s Summit Mk. 1 is a self-contained emergency HF radio solution with an internal computer running FlDigi, integrated 7″ touchscreen and battery power for up to 18 hrs*. This all-in-one rig comes neatly packaged in a waterproof Nanuk case with a CNC machined panel that provides for an external CW key, headphones, microphone, 2 x USBs, antenna (SO239) and charge connector (Anderson PP). The Summit Mk. 1 is based on the Xiegu G90 SDR radio – an ultra-portable 20W 160-10m rig.
Simply open the waterproof Nanuk case, flip the power switch and you’re ready to operate SSB, CW and all modes supported by FlDigi.
* Battery life depends on duty cycle, TX power, and whether or not you’re running the internal computer. 18hrs is based on RX only with the internal computer off. With the internal computer on and a 20% duty cycle at 20W, expect about 6 – 8 hrs of battery life.
